With over 15 years of comprehensive accounting experience, Lakia Goodman brings a strong foundation of financial leadership and integrity to Life Skills Community Center, Inc. Her career spans work with insurance companies, small businesses, nonprofit organizations, government agencies and CPA firms. Her array of experience has assisted in her development of a deep expertise in statutory accounting, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, investments, payroll and budget implementation and tracking.
Mrs. Goodman’s background also includes extensive experience in audit preparation and tax compliance, ensuring that every organization she serves operates with transparency, accountability and fiscal responsibility. She currently holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master’s degree as a Certified Fraud Examiner. Her collegiate career reflects her commitment to excellence and ethical financial practices. Her meticulous attention to detail and passion for empowering mission-driven organizations are assets to the mission of Life Skills Community Center, Inc. Overall, Mrs. Goodman plays a key role in supporting financial sustainability and compliance within our organization.
