She currently holds a bachelor’s degree in social work, she has built a career centered on fostering positive change, promoting inclusivity, and equipping marginalized youth with tools for success.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Shurn has demonstrated exceptional leadership in program management, supervision, youth empowerment, and community development. She has collaborated with diverse organizations and government agencies to design and implement impactful programs addressing the complex challenges faced by vulnerable populations. Her areas of expertise spans from child welfare, communications, real estate and community integration, where she works to help clients build meaningful relationships and create stable living environments.
Truly a lifelong learner and advocate, she actively participates in professional development through workshops, seminars and continuing education in both social work and real estate. She is a champion for reducing homelessness through education, empowerment and pathways to ownership.
